GAME PROTOTYPE -
TORCHED

TORCHED is a puzzle-platformer and adventure game about being an archaeologist! It ties in bits and pieces of real techniques and practices used in Ancient Chinese, Greek, and Irish archaeology, as well as a fair bit of magic and fantasy. TORCHED was originally undertaken as a Grant Prototype Project at the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy, and was expanded upon with more assets and writing as a part of my Senior Project at Stetson University.

I find myself drawn to anthropology, history, and narrative writing, and TORCHED was designed to let me showcase these interests at full force. Combining all of the aforementioned disciplines, and based in the D&D setting I run with my friends on Sundays, TORCHED is the biggest thing I’ve ever made so far!

The soundtrack for TORCHED was graciously produced by my friends Shane Norton and Anishwar Tirupathur

There are a few last-minute glitches that cropped up in the game during its first public presentation, but pending the fixing of these, the link to download and play it for free will be here! The Artbook and Poster as a 3' PDF for printing are available on Gumroad!
